Situated on Whyalla Street in Fyshwick, Canberra (near Officeworks), Safenet specialises in the delivery of a wide variety of safety training courses. With two, comfortable training rooms, confined space simulation area, a 7 metre height safety structure and plenty of free parking, Safenet really is the perfect place for all your organisations safety training needs.
Safenet also offers a huge range of safety equipment for purchase and a large test and tag/equipment inspection and calibration centre. We’re open Monday – Friday – 7:30am until 4:00pm.
Training with Safenet
Wondering what it’s like to train at Safenet? Let us take you on a tour of our facilities with a point-of-view video. Watch from the student’s perspective as they complete their Confined Space and Height Safety courses at our training centre in Fyshwick, ACT.
They start their day with a meet and greet from the facilitator and then proceed to registration. They complete their face to face learning sessions before heading to the live training area. First up is a rescue simulation at height followed a controlled decent from a 7-metre high training tower. After lunch, our learner discovers how to use breathing apparatus and gas test atmospheres before being winched down into our confined space to complete a series of activities in low visibility conditions. They complete their day with a theory assessment and receive their statement of attainment.

Training Rooms
Safenet can deliver over ten courses, five days per week, via two mixed-use training rooms that are suitable for class sizes of up to twelve learners.
Confined Spaces
Start a 2.5 metre controlled decent into the simulation area before heading into our confined space to complete a variety of training activities in zero-visibility conditions.
Height Safety
Learn to climb a non-fixed ladder, complete a controlled descent via a harness and work safely at heights with our 7 metre, all-weather, height safety structure.
Lunch Room and Catering
Lunch is provided for all learners on full-day training courses. For those that are on half-day courses, Safenet will provide light refreshments for morning/afternoon tea.
Safety Equipment Store
Did you know that Safenet has it’s very own safety equipment store? You can either browse all the equipment for sale online or come visit us in person.
Test and Tag
